Hello Londoners and London lovers,
Sorry about the long delay but I haven't had the time, photos and members have still been coming in a steady stream and London has had its share of things to photograph; from snow to protests we've had it all this month.
For this blog I wanted to share an epiphany I've had recently - The discovery of film.
I had reluctantly used it in the past so that I could learn the darkroom basics but recently I've taken up film photography and can't stop. At university they let me borrow a medium format camera and that's where it began, the colours and quality are so good, every photo you take is special and developing it, is peaceful (at times). I know that deviantart is very digital photography based (and so is my gallery...atm) and that is scary at first not knowing at all what you have taken but that's the magic of it and I think that everyone should try it once.
Edit: Maybe it's a coincedence but I like to think that LEWxD answered my blog with these fantastic film images of Thursdays protests.

Sounds good.
Someone sent me this message so I'm sharing it with all of you
I am writing to you because I have been asked to bring attention to an art event taking place in London next week. I was hoping that you could possibly help me promoting this event by posting a journal about it.
"Underground London Art is an art showcase bringing together some of London’s finest unknown artists. The showcase is an opportunity for the artists to display their work and to network with likeminded people.
The event organising team carefully selected artists who come from a range of ages and backgrounds to represent the diversity and vibrancy of the wonderful
Olympics
Hello Londoners and London lovers,
Once again I apologise for the long delay in blog posts but looking at all the submissions you seem to know what your doing. I think it's important to say a word about a small sporting event that's about to hit town. Photographing the London Olympics is actually not about sport, since obviously we don't have press passes or tickets anywhere near the front we need to find other ways to use what the olympics do to a city.
Already Londoners in central london may have seen all the flags of the world hung up on Regent's and Oxford street this gives the opportunity to have photos of big streets in London which w
London Weather
Hello Londoners and London lovers,
Just wanted to comment on the strange and beautiful weather we're having, the sun has clearly got it's dates mixed up and we have been having beautiful sun filled days but how do you use it originally?
Well one idea is to photograph the light rather than then object. For this your going to want to look for tall building or buildings with tall windows and then watch the light choose your next photograph for you. focus in on the sun and the camera should drop everything around it into darkness this makes for beautiful portraits of people or of buildings and the more you look the more you will find.
Keep som
